Joe Camp

Here's a photo I took of Joe Camp, creator of canine super-star, Benji and author of the best seller, "The Soul of A Horse"... Joe's has written books like The Soul of A Horse---Blogged"... Inspiring new stories and compelling new discoveries. Had the pleasure of spending 5 hours at his farm in Bell Buckle TN. Glad to see nice things happen to nice people like Joe and his wife Kathleen. You are going to want to read his books!  He and his wife Kathleen own 8 horses that live outside 24/7/365 with no shoes, no blankets, and no stalls. http://www.debrabenantiphotography.com/…/Joe-Ca…/i-7snv4vw/A

BEAU LOVES HIS GRASS............ He is allowed to roam the property, and that is when I sit on a nearby rock and read my kindle, and watch the Blue Heron in the pond fish for frogs.  It is the most relaxing thing in the world to watch a happy horse roam and graze.  this is what they are meant to do.   Not be locked in a horse jail with only three hours of turn out a day.  One can only wish they had their own property.  I am very blessed to be able to board him where he is now so he can live as close to natural as we can get.  I'm still looking around for my dream farm.  One day I do believe a house with a little piece of land will come my way so I can live with my horse (s).

Mr. Perfections Beau celebrated his 26th birthday this past September 20th, 2016.  Loyal: He has never left my side when I have fallen. Kind: He is the one with the cuts and bite marks on him.  Loving: He will follow me where ever I go, he trusts me.  Wants to please me by letting me take him to the park, or on the trailer for a trail ride.  We have done three this year (long trail rides) each time we were out for about 2 hours.  I hope to have many more times like this with him.  Anyone can find another horse that they can ride, compete and get further in their riding career with.  But, not everyone can say they have developed a relationship with the same horse for 20 years like Beau and I have.  I feel truly sorry for the person who has not experienced the relationship and hope they will find that one horse that they gives them back; what he has given to me.   - Deb
